Drop-Leaf Coffee Table Finito!

Go Here to see what Annabelle looked like in her before shot.

Like most of my finds, Annie needed a little reconstructive surgery before her paint job.

One of the bars that holds the drop leafs up was broken so needed replacing.
I unscrewed the base and used one of the good bars as a pattern.  I cut the board to size.
This is my fantabulous new Dewalt jigsaw (well, new to me)!  I got this puppy at a yard sale on my Easter vacation.
I then measured the center hole to see what size drill bit I needed to use for the new board.
I happened to have some stain that almost matched perfectly!

The old board is quite dusty, but the stains really do match quite well.  I didn't stress over it too much as you never really see these boards (unless you turn the coffee table upside down).

Here is the Beautiful Annabelle post-makeover:

Love this amount of distressing!
Annie has some cute chunky legs!
Here is a close up of a leaf up.
And here she is fully locked and upright!
 Love this table!
