Signs, Signs, Everywhere There's Signs. . . .

We are really on a sign kick lately.  This first one is a faux clock face that turned out c'est magnifique!  We were trying to decide what time to set the clock face and all I could think of was, "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" from Jimmy Buffet.  Really, who doesn't know this saying?

We bought a full sheet of 1/2" plywood because we wanted the real rustic look.  We first cut the board to 2' x 2' then painted the entire thing with Peppercorn basecoat.  Once that dried, we taped the number stencils where we wanted the numbers positioned.

We then painted the numbers with Pumpkin.

Once all the numbers were painted on and dried, we sanded

the entire thing and it is beautiful!
